Career Summary

Mr. Brischler has been employed with Four Corners Environmental since July 2006, and brings a diverse experience to the firm. Mr. Brischler’s responsibilities include report preparation, project management, field support, providing technical writing and editing skills to Four Corners, and providing various forms of support to other Four Corners employees regarding company policy, operating procedures, and human resources issues.

Mr. Brischler is highly trained in industrial injury prevention and cost containment. This training includes a number of safety and loss prevention and hazard identification courses, and Arizona Department of Safety and Health (ADOSH) training courses. Mr. Brischler has trained in safety management, ergonomics, scaffold and work platform safety, ladder safety, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, forklift trainer instruction, bloodborne pathogens, fall protection, back injury prevention and safe lifting practices, trenching an excavation safety, and confined space entry. Mr. Brischler has trained and assisted businesses in developing programs in workplace safety and evaluation, accident investigation, and loss trend analysis, behavior-based safety, drug and alcohol testing, transitional work accommodations, ergonomics, and safety culture analysis.

Mr. Brischler has also received two hour asbestos awareness training and has participated in an Environmental Information Association outreach training class on asbestos and asbestos regulations. Mr. Brischler assists in asbestos survey activities with Four Corners Environmental and performs technical editing, research, and report preparation for a variety of project types including asbestos surveys, lead-based paint surveys, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments, abatement oversight, microbial remediation, and hazardous materials remediation activities.

Mr. Brischler’s education is specific to forestry and wildlife management, with an emphasis on habitat maintenance and improvement. He brings nearly five years of experience in nearly all aspects of forestry and resource management expertise. Mr. Brischler has extensive field experience in the Coconino National Forest, including forest inventory data, wildlife habitat determinations and practical thinning and burning activities. Mr. Brischler is also trained in wildland firefighting, and has experience in initiating and responding to prescribed or controlled burns.

Mr. Brischler’s previous work experience included working for the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, for which he collected comprehensive forest inventory plot data, and was responsible for managing data accumulation, quality assurance, filing and data retrieval and computer systems. Mr. Brischler was responsible for locating and establishing sample plots, inventorying downed woody fuels, and performing various overstory and understory vegetation sampling.

Prior to joining Four Corners Environmental, Mr. Brischler worked in a number of specialty positions for SCF Arizona, the state’s largest workers’ compensation insurance carrier. Mr. Brischler has worked as a Legal Assistant for a workers’ compensation attorney, as a Customer Service Underwriter, and as a Loss Control Consultant. Mr. Brischler held an Arizona Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license and has an extensive knowledge of Arizona’s workers’ compensation insurance system and regulations. Mr. Brischler has issued and serviced insurance policies for a wide variety of businesses and municipal entities, and has provided professional business consultation for them regarding workplace accident and injury prevention and cost management.
