Career Summary

Ms. Brischler has 11 years of technical experience in environmental assessments and facility management. Her technical experience includes Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, lead-based paint surveys, asbestos inspections and abatement oversight, hazardous waste management, hazardous waste packaging, Department of Transportation (DOT) hazardous materials compliance management and reporting, groundwater monitoring activities, IAQ assessments, microbial investigations and sampling methods and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program development. Ms. Brischler is responsible for Resource Conservation and Recovery (RCRA) program management, tracking and reporting for educational and municipal clients.

Ms. Brischler also provides quality assurance and quality control support for asbestos and lead-based paint program management for municipal and state clients. She has assisted in third party reviews of asbestos survey results and operation and maintenance program implementation.

Ms. Brischler completed the Lead Inspector and Risk Assessor for Lead-Based Paint Hazards training in October 2000. Since that time, she has conducted lead-based paint surveys on various sized municipal and private client buildings. Her responsibilities have included initial assessments, sampling program development, data evaluation, and development of remedial, operations, and maintenance recommendations.

Ms. Brischler has eight years experience with a groundwater appropriation project for a municipal client in New Mexico. Ms. Brischler has become proficient in the groundwater modeling computer program used for this project, including calibration model runs and developing matrices for model input. Ms. Brischler is also involved with the development and management of the quality assurance and quality control program for this project.

Ms. Brischler was also the Project Manager for Northern Arizona University Hazardous Material Program for six years which included the handling, sampling, categorizing/inventory, packaging, and waste manifest/shipment record keeping of hazardous and biowastes generated from campus research and student teaching laboratories.

Prior to joining Four Corners in 2000, Ms. Brischler worked as an environmental technician with the Bermuda Electric Light Company (BELCO). Ms. Brischler was responsible for operation and routine maintenance of electric generation environmental monitoring equipment, developed and implemented database management programs for environmental compliance and reporting, managed the customer environmental relations program, and coordinated the international environmental compliance requirements for the utility. Ms. Brischler also managed the PCB testing program for transformers that required routine maintenance at BELCO and arranged for the disposal of listed hazardous waste in accordance with international laws.
